UK Weather & Traffic - Heavy Snow

Well, we hardly ever get any snow up here that sticks. So it's a nightmare. So if you're on your way out or trying to get home tonight its best to make sure that you're up-to-date with all the travel news.

My recommendation is that if you're about to travel through the motorway network through the snow then you should check the Google Traffic map as this shows a colour-coded map of the motorway network with red showing that the roads are clogged up.

I'd then go over to the BBC Travel website and see what's happening on the other roads. There was also a good write-up here.
